Minor injuries for elderly driver after car overturns in Dumont crash

ONLY ON CVP: An elderly driver was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with minor injuries after his car overturned in a crash in Dumont this morning, responders told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The driver of a Porsche involved in the 8 a.m. collision with the Honda on East Madison Avenue at Colonial Parkway, two blocks west of the monument, wasn’t injured, they said.

“It was a relatively slow impact,” one responder said. “It caught the vehicle at just the right angle to flip it.

“The driver had his seatbelt on or it would have been much worse.”
