Medical tech masturbated in presence of disabled children at Maywood facility, authorities charge

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A Warren County medical technician who was arrested last month on charges of sending sexually explicit emails to a Ridgewood resident masturbated in the presence of two disabled children at a Maywood psychiatric facility, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli confirmed this afternoon.

Brandon Brian Kuhl, 31, also videotaped the children, Molinelli said this afternoon in announcing his arrest, confirming an earlier CLIFFVIEW PILOT report.

Kuhl, who the prosecutor said also had more than 100 images of “pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual acts,” was being held on $500,000 bail after being processed through Central Municipal Court earlier today.

Police last month arrested Kuhl and released him on a summons pending an analysis of computers seized at his Liberty Township home.

That produced new evidence tying him to other crimes, Molinelli said.

Kuhl is scheduled for a first court appearance on Monday.

CLIFFVIEW PILOT isn’t identifying the facility, which authorities said cooperated fully in the investigation and moved swiftly once the allegations came to light.
