Maywood Police Seek Hit-And-Run Van That Struck Signs, Pole, Fence

MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Maywood police were seeking the public's help finding the driver of a van that struck three traffic signs, a utility pole and a fence and kept going Tuesday morning.

The white vehicle left the roadway on southbound Maywood Avenue near Lenox around 9 a.m., police said.

After a series of crashes "it continued southbound without stopping," they said.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation was asked to call Maywood PD: (201) 845-8800.

Officer Brian Rubio was investigating.
