Maywood police lift car off injured man’s leg

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Maywood police used a radio car to lift a vehicle off a man who was pinned underneath it this morning while doing repairs, Chief David Pegg said this afternoon.

“He was repairing the brakes on the vehicle when it went forward, going over a metal guardrail,” Pegg told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Using a patrol car, Lt. Anthony Korn and Officers Kevin Madden and Eric Aronson moved the vehicle sideways to free him, the chief said.

Maywood EMS took the 40-something borough man to Hackensack University Medical Center with leg injuries, Pegg said.
