Maywood PD hiring

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Maywood is hiring New Jersey Police Training Commission certified officers, Chief David Pegg announced today. No waivers will be accepted, he said. Here’s what you need:

a) At least 60 college-level credits earned and completed from an accredited college or university;

b) At least two consecutive years of military service with an honorary discharge; or:

c) At least two years of full-time law enforcement experience with a municipal, county, state, or federal police or law enforcement department or agency.

Applications are available at Maywood police headquarters. They must be returned no later than 4 p.m. May 16.
