The girl said she was near the intersection of Oak Avenue and Belle Avenue around 3:30 p.m. yesterday when the men pulled up in a black, older model, four-door sedan with NJ license plates.

The vehicle had tinted windows and a dented rear bumper, she said.

The front seat passenger — described as white, 17-18 years old, with a thin build, brown hair and wearing a blue t-shirt and mustard-colored cargo shorts — got out, walked to the back bumper and “started to stare” at the victim, she said.

The girl told police she took out her cell phone to call police and the driver yelled at the passenger to get back in the car. They then drove away, she said.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to call Maywood detectives: (201) 845-8800
