Leonard S. Gueye “tried to disarm one of the officers” sent to disperse the 60 or so people who spilled onto Kansas Street from a house party around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Detective Capt. Thomas Salcedo told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
Gueye (top, left), 21, who was being held on $75,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, was one of a few in the crowd who “became combative,” Salcedo said.
He is charged with trying to take an officer’s gun, rioting, assaulting police and resisting arrest.
Also being held on $75,000 bail was Thomas Jasko (top, right), 23, of Woodcliff Lake, charged with assaulting police, resisting arrest and hindering apprhension.
Also taken into custody on charges of resisting arrest and rioting:
Kashawn Jamar West, (bottom right) 21, of Hackensack, who was being held on $35,000 bail;
Bryant K. Dula (bottom, left), 18, of Bogota, who was being held on $30,000 bail.
