Bradford Patrick got angry after his 48-year-old neighbor apparently blew some snow onto his Pasadena Avenue property while digging out after the weekend storm, Lodi Police Sgt. Robert Salerno told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The two, who’ve had troubles in the past, exchanged words Saturday before Bradford went after him and members of the man’s family with a knife, the sergeant said.

The victim’s son rescued his father, leaving Bradford with injuries of his own, which were minor.

The victim, meanwhile, was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with several stab wounds. His condition wasn’t considered life-threatening, Salerno said.

Bradford had an initial court appearance yesterday at the Bergen County Jail. He is also charged with illegal weapons possession.
