Melvin Lewis remained free without bail after being charged with 14 counts of prescription fraud, all written the same Manhattan neurologist’s prescription pad and filled at the same Terhune Avenue pharmacy in Lodi.

The frauds began on Sept. 12, 2013 and continued each month, with a break this past March, before ending on April 1, the indictment says.
