Lodi go-go dancer from Hackensack jumps 10 floors to death

EXCLUSIVE (ONLY ON CVP): A 22-year-old woman who jumped to her death from a Hackensack high-rise — crashing through the canopy and landing in front of the building’s revolving doors — was a Russian dancer at a Lodi go-go bar who had a run-in with building management earlier today, CLIFFVIEW PILOT has learned.

Iuliia Armitage was in the middle of a divorce as she moved some belongings from her 10th-floor apartment out into the hallway this afternoon, a source with direct knowledge of her situation told CLIFFVIEW PILOT tonight.

A staff member quickly told her to bring them back inside, the source said.

After finishing the task and bolting her front door, Armitage stepped onto her patio around 2 p.m. and jumped (CLIFFVIEW PILOT photo. No re-use without watermark).

Authorities don’t believe Armitage, who danced at the Harem Cabaret on Route 17, was involved in any way with human trafficking or other related immigrant crimes, CLIFFVIEW PILOT has learned.

She’d lived barely a month at the Excelsior II high-rise on Prospect Avenue, two blocks north of Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack police confirmed late this afternoon. They said they found her door dead-bolted and had to cut their way in.

The Harem — which features all-nude dancing — is located on Route 17 South, just under the Route 80 overpass, in the Marty’s Shoes shopping plaza.

This comes not even two weeks after jewelry designer Ashley Riggitano jumped to her death from the George Washington Bridge on her 22nd birthday. SEE: What wasn’t reported about the death of Ashley Riggitano
