Khashayar Vosough, 48, who practices obstetrics and gynecology, was acquitted of third-degree charges of possession of drugs and paraphernalia following a bench trial of less than 15 minutes in October 2013, records show.

The father of three was charged after his wife called police on Oct. 12, 2012, Assistant Bergen County Prosecutor Nicholas Ostuni told CLIFFVIEW PILOT at the time.

Vosough pleaded innocent and refused pre-trial intervention, contending that he was set up in a multi-million divorce.

Two or three unopened bags that weren’t his had been in the Franklin Lakes home, he said, adding that neither his DNA nor fingerprints were found on them.

“This was an 800-pound gorilla on my back,” Vosough told CLIFFVIEW PILOT. “It’s a relief to not have to deal with it anymore.”
