Scott Parsons, 56, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon against two adults and two children in the Aug. 24 incident.
It also charges him with assaulting a Port Authority police officer whom they said he bit.
Parsons rammed his red, 1991 GMC pickup into a 2012 Honda and a 2012 Chrysler on the westbound upper level of the bridge in an apparent road-rage incident, authorities said at the time.
He then got out of the truck, kicked and punched the Chrysler, jumped on its hood and pounded a dent into the roof, they said.
As Port Authority officers approached, Parsons jumped the barrier and ran into eastbound traffic.
He kicked, flailed his arms and bit Officer Mario Garcia while he was being subdued, they said.
The officer and Parsons were taken to Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
The indictment charges Parson with assaulting four civilians with a deadly weapon and damaging the two vehicles that were struck.
He’s also accused of at first fleeing and then assaulting and threatening Garcia.
Parsons remained free on bail.
