Fabian Chimborazo-Saeteros stabbed the 20-year-old victim after getting into an argument with him on Anderson Avenue around 3:30 a.m., Lt. Brian Corcoran told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Officers Jason Sawyer and Richard Maietta, responding to bystanders’ 911 call, chased and caught Chimborazo-Saeteros and took him into custody, Corcoran said.

He was charged with second-degree aggravated assault, resisting arrest, weapons possession and endangering an injured victim by not calling for an ambulance, and ordered held on $50,000 bail. ICE also was expected to file a detainer keeping Chimborazo-Saeteros in custody even if he makes bail.
