Hudson man had inappropriate sexual contact with Hackensack girl, 14, authorities charge

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A married carpenter from North Bergen had sexual communications several times with a 14-year-old Fairview girl, said authorities who arrested him yesterday.

Kevin M. Quiroz, 26, was being held on $100,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and child endangerment.

Special Victims Unit investigators and Fairview detectives took Quiroz into custody after the girl and her family reported the alleged behavior to police, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said this afternoon.

He was scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow afternoon in Superior Court in Hackensack.
