Eric Lynch, 29, was on northbound Hackensack Avenue when he blew a red light at Temple Avenue just after 10 a.m. and his car struck another in the intersection, sending the driver to the hospital, Detective Capt. Thomas Salcedo said.

He continued on for another block, making a high-speed turn toward Devoe Place, where the Beamer was hit by a southbound car before plowing through the fence at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Hackensack firefighters cut Lynch from the car, after which he was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center.

Police charged him with failing to keep right, failing to observe traffic signal, leaving the scene of a crash and careless driving.

The 74-year-old driver of the second car didn’t go to the hospital, emergency workers said.

No passengers were in any of the three vehicles.
