Hackensack woman not wearing seat belt ejected in Wyckoff crash, police say

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 31-year-old Hackensack woman who police said wasn’t wearing a seat belt was ejected from her Jeep after it spun out and hit a utility pole on northbound Route 208 in Wyckoff this morning.

Nicole Laskau sustained head injuries in the 10:45 a.m crash between Grandview and Cedar Hill avenues, Police Chief Benjamin Fox said, adding that she wasn’t wearing a seat belt.

The rear of the 2005 Jeep Liberty hit the pole, snapping it and ejecting Laskau, Fox said.

The highway was closed for about an hour.
