Hackensack man jailed in sex crime involving girl, 15

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A Hackensack man had “inappropriate sexual activity” with a 15-year-old girl, said authorities who charged him with sex assault and child endangerment.

George Delacruz, 20, was being held on $150,000 bail on the second-degree assault charge in the Bergen County Jail.

Members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and Hackensack police arrested him last Friday after interviewing the girl, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said this afternoon.

Delacruz was scheduled for arraignment tomorrow in Central Municipal Court in Hackensack.
