Authorities initially said that Omar D. Aguirre-Cascante, 45, had “inappropriate sexual activity” with the girl over the course of two years before he was arrested in October 2013.
The 12-count grand jury indictment handed up in Hackensack details alleged offenses that include the oral and digital sex, “intentionally rubbing his penis in his underwear on [the] victim’s vagina,” putting her hand on his penis and touching her breasts.
The indictment also charges Aguirre-Cascante with impairing the morals of a minor.
Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said members of his Special Victims Unit and Hackensack police arrested Aguirre-Cascante after the girl told a counselor who immediately contacted the state Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P).
The girl then told investigators that “the incidents occurred on numerous occasions when she was between the ages of eleven and thirteen and took place mostly at the home of a relative in Hackensack,” the prosecutor said at the time.
The 5-foot-6-inch, 186-pound Ecuadoran native has remained free on $200,000 bail, posted two weeks after his Oct. 2, 2013 arrest.
