Members of Molinelli’s Special Victims Unit and Hackensack police arrested Omar Aguirre-Cascante, 43, on Wednesday after the girl told a counselor who immediately contacted the state Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P), the prosecutor said.

The girl then told investigators that “the incidents occurred on numerous occasions when she was between the ages of eleven and thirteen and took place mostly at the home of a relative in Hackensack,” he said.

Aguirre-Cascante, who is single and self-employed, was being held on $200,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with aggravated sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual contact and child endangerment. He’s due in court next Wednesday.
