Hackensack Firefighters Show Schoolchildren Importance Of Reading

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Seven Hackensack firefighters did their part to bring male role models to youngsters to show them the importance of reading at the Nellie K. Parker School.

The city's bravest participating in“He Reads To Me” included firefighter Roberto Burgos, whose daughter attends the school.

The hope, Lt. Justin Derevyanik said, is to "make a positive difference in children’s lives."
