Hackensack firefighters remove windshield to free occupant in crash

Several Hackensack Rescue engines and others responded to a crash today that left a car on its side.

One occupant was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with a knee injury while another refused treatment following the crash at Union and Atlantic streets.

Firefighters removed the windshield to free one of them.

Hackensack police were investigating.
