Hackensack construction worker pinned by machine rushed to hospital

YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST: Hackensack firefighters this afternoon helped get a worker whose legs were run over by a construction machine to the hospital after colleagues pulled him out.

Engine 2, Ladder 1, Rescue 1, & D/C 4 all responded to 230 Polifly Road for the noon report.

“The machine rolled over his lower legs. He was conscious the whole time,” an emergency worker told CLIFFVIEW PILOT. “He has trauma injuries to both legs.”

Hackensack University Medical Center ambulance took the injured worker to the hospital.

City police were investigating.
