Mingoo “Marty” Kim, 47, of Wanaque, was responsible for the day-to-day operations of CGK Group LLC and Body Tech Labs LLC, both located in Hackensack, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said this afternoon.

Recently, he said, Kim “submitted fraudulent receipts for reimbursement of orthotic shoe molds” and “issued numerous checks to himself for reimbursement with lacking documentation for any legitimate business expense,” without the permission or knowledge of his partners.

Kim then put the money to personal use, the prosecutor said.

He was released without bail following an appearance earlier today in Central Municipal Court in Hackensack, after which details of his arrest were made public.

Kim is charged with second-degree theft by deception.
