Engine #2 was en route to a call at the Walmart on Passaic Street when one of the teens flung the bottle, which crashed through a rear compartment window on the driver’s side on Palisade Avenue between Monroe and Commerce streets, the captain told CLIFFVIEW PILOT early yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters reported seeing a group of teenagers — believed to be between 14 and 17 and wearing hoodies and dark-colored clothing run north on Palisade Avenue and then west on Monroe Street, the captain said.
