School resource officers helped detectives identify the teen, who was detained on juvenile delinquent complaints of aggravated assault and interference with transportation, Detective Capt. Darren Sucorowski said tonight.
A criminal mischief complaint will also be signed once authorities determine how much it will cost to repair the truck, he said.
“It was a combination of lots of hard work hitting the pavement and the great media exposure,” the captain told CLIFFVIEW PILOT tonight.
Tiny pieces of tempered glass flew into the face of 22-year-old Victoria Kovacs, cutting both her corneas.

The boy was released to the custody of his guardian pending an appearance before a Family Court judge in Hackensack, Surcorowski said.
Engine #2 was en route to a call at the Walmart on Passaic Street when one of the teens flung the bottle, which crashed through a rear compartment window on the driver’s side on Palisade Avenue between Monroe and Commerce streets, the captain told CLIFFVIEW PILOT early yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters reported seeing a group of teenagers — believed to be between 14 and 17 and wearing hoodies and dark-colored clothing run north on Palisade Avenue and then west on Monroe Street, the captain said.
