Hackensack police said 23-year-old Jimmy Harris got into an argument with a group of people at a Main  Street apartment, left the place, then fired three shots at the building from a rear parking lot.

“Luckily no one was hit,” Capt. Thomas Salcedo told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

After securing a search warrant, police raided a Railroad Avenue apartment where Harris had been staying and found the drugs and cash, he said.

Informal estimates put the street value of the three and a half ounce rock at nearly $25,000.

They arrested Gregory Bruce, 25, on charges that include money laundering and drug possession with the intent to distribute it. He was being held on $150,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail

Harris, who is known to stay in Teaneck, is wanted on charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats and unlawful weapons possession, among other counts.

“We have reason to believe he’s heading south, if he’s not there already,”Salcedo said.

At only 23, Harris already has an extensive criminal history, having been arrested no fewer than nine times for crimes involving drug dealing and possession and served short terms in the county jail.
