Ecuadoran immigrant charged with having sex with underage Moonachie girl

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 25-year-old Ecuadoran national was being held on $300,000 bail following his arrest on charges of having sex with an underage girl for two years beginning when she was 13.

The girl’s father called Moonachie police on Monday, after which she was interviewed by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Special Victims Unit.

Detectives then arrested Luis Remache of Lookout Avenue in Hackensack yesterday, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.

Remache, who Molinelli said had sex with the girl until a year ago, is charged with aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment. He is single and unemployed, the prosecutor said.
