Drowning man pulled from Hasbrouck Heights hotel pool

ONLY ON CLIFFVIEW PILOT: A 28-year-old Passaic man who didn’t know how to swim was in critical condition after being pulled from the deep end of a Hasbrouck Heights hotel swimming pool last night.

Hasbrouck Heights Detective Michael Colaneri told CLIFFVIEW PILOT that the victim “had a slight pulse” after a witness rescued him and a Hilton Hotel staff member administered CPR following the 8:30 p.m. incident.

Officer Dominick D’Amico, the first officer at the scene, continued the effort until a Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department ambulance arrived, he said.

Emergency workers then took the victim to Hackensack University Medical Center, Colaneri told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
