AirMed One flew in and whisked the driver to Hackensack University Medical Center after Alpine firefighters cut out the occupants.

Closter Ambulance and Rescue Corps and a Hackensack University Medical Center crew took the remaining occupants to the hospital following the 10 a.m. crash.

None of the injuries were considered life-threatening. Acting PIP Police Chief Michael Coppola said.

“Information received thus far indicates that the victim’s vehicle may have been cut off during a lane change by another car,” Coppola said. “The operator then lost control striking the guardrail.”
