Detention center guard had sex with juvenile delinquent, prosecutor says

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A female guard at the Bergen County detention center had sex in a laundry room with a 16-year-old delinquent, said authorities who arrested and charged her with sexual assault and official misconduct.

Heydee Saenz, of Garfield, a nine-year veteran of the Bergen County Juvenile Detention Center in Paramus, was being held on $50,000 bail in the county jail in Hackensack.

There’s more, though: According to Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli, other juveniles have accused Saenz, 36, who is single, of inappropriate conduct.

“[T]he investigation into the circumstances surrounding the allegations made by the juvenile detainees is ongoing,” he said.
