Day-care center administrator charged in underage alcohol party at Franklin Lakes home

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A Hackensack day-care center administrator from Franklin Lakes was issued nuisance summonses and a 17-year-old girl given a juvenile complaint for underage alcohol possession after police crashed a party attended by nearly 50 teens.

Officers discovered the unsupervised Ewing Avenue bash following a complaint just after 10:30 Tuesday night, Franklin Lakes Detective Lt. John Bakelaar said this morning.

The homeowner, Emina Namiotka, 44, was charged with maintaining a nuisance, which is answerable in Municipal Court.

Namiotka, the president of the Children Learning Center in Hackensack, couldn’t immediately be reached. A receptionist said she was out of work today.

Sgt. Andrew Cacciatore and Officers Mark McCombs, Donald Wilson and Gregory Albert investigated.
