Injuries didn’t appear life-threatening, Alpine Police Chief Christopher Belcolle told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The 57-year-old borough driver was headed south near The Esplanade when his car struck them just before 9 a.m., the chief said.

One cyclist was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center and the other to Englewood Medical Center, he said.

He was given summonses for careless driving and failing to maintain lane, Belcolle said.
