Jomaris Gonzalez, 29, of Newark had a “not guilty” plea entered by her attorney Monday afternoon.

Gonzalez, a part-time hairdresser and mother of three, is charged with possession of large quantities of both cocaine and heroin with the intent to distribute the drugs.

She’s also charged with maintaining a drug production facility and hindering the apprehension of another by interfering with police efforts to arrest Mujahideen Abdullah, as well as possession of marijuana with the intent to sell the pot.

She and Abdullah face several charges related to drug possession and distribution in Essex County, as well.

Authorities in Bergen County are also prosecuting Gonzalez on an indictment that charges her with lying to law enforcement in connection with the slaying of popular limousine owner Jeffrey Mansilla.

Investigators say Gonzalez was sleeping in a silver Infiniti driven by Abdullah as he chased the 39-year-old Mansilla from a Belleville nightclub to a spot on eastbound Route 80 in Saddle Brook where he opened fire with a semi-automatic weapon before dawn on June 12, 2014.

Mansilla, who was engaged to be married two months later, was hit in the hip with one of three shots fired through the driver’s side door of his 2013 GMC Yukon near milepost 63.

The bullet passed through him, a law enforcement source with direct knowledge of the case told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Mansilla steered off the highway and a passenger took the wheel and drove him to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Gonzalez remained held on $200,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.
