A city officer reviewing hallway surveillance video saw clear images of 28-year-old Brandon Kinney expose himself and then masturbate outside the gym during the regional tournament for wrestlers 6 to 14 around 1:50 p.m Sunday, Police Capt. Thomas Salcedo told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this afternoon.
After identifying Kinney, Hackensack police arrested him at his home yesterday.
He was brought to Hackensack police headquarters, charged with lewdness and released on a summons.
Hoboken’s Department of Recreation has suspended Kinney and is conducting an investigation of its own, CLIFFVIEW PILOT has learned.
Kinney, who also teaches at the Edge School of Wrestling in Hoboken, has been involved in wrestling for nearly 20 years, according to his bio.
The Michican native wrestled at Columbia University, where he received his B.S. in Political Science.
