Child porn videos lead to arrest of Hudson man by Bergen detectives

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A North Bergen man was arrested by computer crimes investigators from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and charged with trafficking in hundreds of online child pornography videos involving pre-pubescent youngsters having sex.

Javier E. Salazar, a married software engineer who lives at 415 73rd Street, was being held on $75,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail pending an appearance Monday in Central Municipal Court following his arrest earlier today.

He is charged with two counts of child endangerment by possession child pornography, records show.

This comes on the same day that a federal judge sentenced an Ocean County man to 22 years in prison for taking pornographic pictures of two minors, ages 6 and 3, in Pennsylvania, and distributing them.

Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli cited the help of North Bergen police and the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, as well as contributions to the Computer Crimes Task Force of officers from Lyndhurst, Maywood, Ramsey and Ridgewood.
