Stacie Burek was taken into custody after her Honda Odyssey clammed into the unoccupied vehicle at 11:20 p.m. on Hackensack Avenue near Summit Avenue, Police Chief Thomas Nielsen said.
After she registered a 0.00% blood alcohol content level at police headquarters, a drug recognition officer evaluated her and determined she was under the influence of a “central nervous system depressant and narcotic analgesic” and “unable to operate a motor vehicle at the time,” the chief said.
Police released Burek to a sponsor on a court summons charging her with driving while under the influence of drugs, DWI, two counts of driving without a license and careless driving.
