Bogota police charge Hackensack man, Saudi national in attack over woman

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A Saudi Arabian national and a Hackensack man were arrested by Bogota police after they attacked a man with a bottle and sticks in a fight over a woman, authorities told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this afternoon.

Officers who responded to a resident’s call of a disturbance in the 300 block of Palisade Avenue last night found the shirtless 22-year-old victim, Police Chief John C. Burke said.

His assailants drove off, but the Bogota officers issued a countywide alert and Teaneck police stopped them soon after on Cedar Lane.

Abdulrahm Alsadat, 23, of Hackensack and Abdullah Gubrazli, 22, were being held on $15,000 bail each in the Bergen County Jail, charged with aggravated assault with a weapons, among other counts.

The victim refused medical attention.
