The driver of the two-door Toyota Celica was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center under police guard following the 2 p.m. crash. Her blood was taken there and sent to the New Jersey State Police laboratory to be analyzed.

Officer Thomas Tully was out of his cruiser and Officer Mark Tagliareni was in another police car in front of it near Cedar Hill Avenue when the collision occurred.

Neither officer was injured.

Among those who responded to the crash along with their Wyckoff colleagues were Franklin Lakes, Glen Rock and Hawthorne police.

Rubbernecking delays were prevalent southbound through the area.
