Nicholas A. Bencze, who is married and unemployed, was charged with possession of child pornography and drugs following a search of his home, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said a short time later.
Besides collecting the pornographic images, Bencze “utilized the Darknet and Bitcoin currency to acquire quantities of controlled dangerous substances, including steroids,” the prosecutor said.
A judge ordered him held I the Bergen County Jail pending a Sept. 20 first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
