The amount continues to grow, as those jailed from Monday through Wednesday pony up, Bergen County Sheriff Michael Saudino said this morning.

Saudino’s officers took 37 people into custody — most of whom have gone before a judge in Hackensack and either made arrangements to pay or were locked up in the Bergen County Jail — during the three-day campaign.

Some cleared their debts: Christopher Santiago paid the full $2,964 that he owed, while Anthony Avia came up with his entire $3,000. Others avoided jail by paying amounts as small as $10 and $20.

“This raid was timed specifically in hopes that the money brought in will help these families during the holiday season,” Saudino said. “It is important because those are actual dollars being sent to the families who need it the most.”

Saudino said “no notable issues” occurred in the arrests by members of his Fugitive Warrant Unit.

Three women were arrested, including Maria Cirincione, who paid $300 of the $4,430 owed, records show.

Topping the list:

Donald Coleman was arrested on five separate charges of arrears, totaling $142,773.43

Donald Becker (above, left), $84,354;
Kevin Tennant (middle), $62,692;
Rocco Pandorg (left), $45,983.

None of the top three had paid anything as of this morning, records show.
