Heriberto D. Calles, 50, was behind the wheel around 3 a.m. this morning after leaving a Bergenfield bar when his passenger van containing five people struck the pole at Lantana Avenue and Liberty Road in Englewood, reports show.
The two passengers who died reportedly weren’t wearing seatbelts.
A third is at Hackensack University Medical Center with severe injuries. Calles, of Cottage Place, most recently owned and operated a janitorial service out of Englewood, records show. He w as still hospitalized under security for injuries he sustained in the crash. His bail is $300,000 bail.
