At only 21 years old, Christopher Siguenza is well known to police in Bergen County following a delinquency history that began in his early teens.
He was being held in the Bergen County Jail, in fact, when Palisades Park Detective Frank DeCicco nailed him for the March 22 post office robbery.
Siguenza has been lodged in the jail since Hasbrouck Heights police arrested him last Thursday on charges of stealing credit cards from gym lockers and using them to buy booze.

Both Garfield police (in late February) and Ridgefield Park police (last December) arrested him on various charges, only to have judges release Siguenza under New Jersey's new bail reform law, records show.
Previous arrests the past two years involved allegations of criminal sexual contact in Wood-Ridge and various offenses in Palisades Park, including driving without a license and pot possession.
Last month, Siguenza entered Palisades Park's Central Boulevard post office, jumped the counter and ordered a clerk to open a cash drawer, DeCicco told Daily Voice.
"She was afraid of him, so she opened it," the detective said.
Siguenza snatched the cash, ran out and ditched some of the clothing he was wearing in a nearby garbage bin, he said.
DeCicco notified postal inspectors, found the clothing and showed the clerk a photo lineup.
She picked out Siguenza, he said.
On March 24, Siguenza posted on Facebook: "How I go n rob a post office n the [expletive] help me take the money [expletive] is crazy lol."
DeCicco officially served Siguenza on Tuesday with robbery through threat or fear of injury -- also known as strong-armed robbery.
He remained held in the jail pending yet another detention hearing.
