Hector Perez of Harding Place in Fairview was arrested after revelations of the alleged crime — believed to have happened 18 months ago — came to light late last week said Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli.
Perez, who is married, previously worked as an acceptance agent, authorized by the IRS to help immigrants who didn’t quality for Social Security numbers but still needed Taxpayer Identification Numbers. These agents review the necessary documents and forward the completed forms to the IRS.
Perez, who now works at Case Medical in South Hackensack, is charged with aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment.
A judge ordered his passport seized and Perez held at the Bergen County Jail after he turned himself in to investigators at the prosecutor’s office in Paramus.
