Both drivers were taken by Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps after one was extricated by firefighters following the first crash, between two cars at Queen Anne Road and Vandelinda Avenue, at 9:54 p.m., police said.
The second occurred about an hour later at Mildred Street and Griggs Avenue when a car took down a stop sign and struck a tree. TVAC took two people to the hospital — one to Hackensack University Medical Center and the other to Englewood Medical Center — while a third declined medical attention.
