UPDATE: A child has died after being struck by a school bus in Rockland County, police confirm.
The crash happened at around 9 a.m. on Blauvelt Road in Monsey on Wednesday, July 8, according to Ramapo Police.
The girl had been crossing the street at 182 Blauvelt Rd. when she was struck by the school bus.
Emergency crews, including Hatzoloh EMS and the Ramapo Police Department, responded to the scene.
