MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Mary A. Carton, 77, of Maywood, died Sunday, Oct. 2.
She was born July 20, 1939.
She was the health officer for the Borough of Maywood for 20 years before retiring April 4, 2004. She was a life member of the Maywood First Aid and Emergency Squad and also a member of the Maywood Golden Age Club.
She is survived by her husband, Donald F. Carton; children, Melissa Lynn Mogen and her husband Christopher and David Scott Carton and his wife Paola; grandchild, Zoë Francesca; and sisters Joanna Koch and Frances Stork.
Memorial visiting will be from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Monday at the Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, 439 Maywood Ave., Maywood. A memorial Mass will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 400 Maywood Ave., Maywood.
