HackensackUMC Receives Donated Paramedic Vehicles

HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Emergency Medical Services Department at HackensackUMC received a donation of two paramedic vehicles Wednesday to support advanced life support services provided to the community.

The donation was made possible by Joseph Sanzari, chairman of the HackensackUMC Pascack Valley Joint Venture Board and past chairman of the HackensackUMC Board of Governors.

The vehicles are staffed with two paramedics and the equipment in each vehicle includes heart monitors, medications and other emergency medical equipment to treat both adult and pediatric patients for traumatic and medical emergencies.
