Eli Manning Honored Through $500,000 Humc Grant

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was honored Wednesday by the Sohn Conference Foundation in support of the Cure and Beyond program at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Manning made a special appearance at the Sohn Investment Conference held in New York City, where he was honored for his continued dedication to Tackle Kids Cancer.

The initiative supports pediatric cancer research, clinical care and support services at the Children’s Cancer Institute at HackensackUMC’s Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital. 

Funded by a $500,000 grant from the Sohn Conference Foundation, the Sohn-Manning Pediatric Cancer Survivorship Program will benefit Cure and Beyond at HackensackUMC, which addresses long-term health, emotional and social issues specific to pediatric cancer survivors. 

Cure and Beyond is part of a range of initiatives developed and provided by the Children’s Cancer Institute at HackensackUMC to meet a spectrum of patient and family needs. 

In addition, the Institute offers services such as pediatric neuro-oncology, developmental therapeutics, cancer genetics, photopheresis, bone marrow transplant, and clinical trials. 

Hackensack University Medical Center is a 775- bed nonprofit teaching and research hospital and is the largest provider of inpatient and outpatient services in the state.
