Bergen County Offers Rabies Vaccines To Dog, Cat Owners

BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. -- Bergen County will be offering pet vaccinations for dogs and cats on Thursday, Dec. 17 at the Animal Shelter.

Rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats will be free. Distemper for dogs and cats are and Bordatella vaccinations for dogs only are $15. 

Owners are asked to bring documentation of previous vaccinations, if possible. Dogs must be on a secure leash and cats must be in carriers. 

Dogs and cats must be older than 4 months to receive a rabies shot. No other vaccinations will be given to pets under a year old. 

The Bergen County Animal Shelter is located at 100 United Lane in Teterboro.
