Woman, Teen Wounded In Hail Of Gunfire In South Jersey: Police
A woman and a teenager were wounded in a shooting in which at least 40 rounds were fired, authorities said.
On Sunday, Aug. 20, at about 4:45 a.m., Millville police were called to the 500 block of North 6th Street for shots fired, police said.
Two gunshot victims were found inside of a residence, a 36-year-old female with a wound to the lower leg, and a 14-year-old girl with a wound to the chest, police said.
The 36-year-old was treated and released from Vineland Inspira Hospital the same day.

Pedestrian Struck, Killed In South Jersey: Police
A pedestrian was struck and killed in Cumberland County, authorities said.
Michael Nelson Corona, 37, of Millville, was crossing the 7800 block of West Buckshutem Road at 9:07 p.m. on March 31 when he was hit by a Hyundai Tucson, Millville police said.
Corona was taken to Vineland Inspira Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. The crash remains under investigation.
